The Potteries, the ceramic studio and art gallery of Bill and Janice Cook, is located in the heart of the historic district in Mesilla, New Mexico. The public is welcome to observe Bill and Janice creating original hand formed ceramic architectural lighting fixtures in the tradition of old world craftsmen.

Bill is among the few potters today who digs his own clays and formulates his own claybodies. This special care and sensitivity to color, texture, and durability enables him to offer a quality product providing a lifetime of aesthetic enjoyment.

Cook Lighting Studio, a part of The Potteries, specializes in an assortment of wall sconces, hanging pendants, and chandeliers that can add special warmth to your lighting design.
